Everyone is selling something on the internet right from me trying to sell my idea to you now. The internet is filled with sales pitches everywhere. Even Google search console tries to sell someone else’s content to you with its Google search bar suggestions.
Be it any field of business, selling is one sole thing the business is bound to. Let’s take some casual moments of selling that could add value to our sales pitch.

In our day to day life we come across a ton of sales pitches right from the sales SMS we never opted for, sales call we have no clue about, sales emails we never subscriber for, sales pamphlets we never asked for on the road/ inside a newspaper or even the sales ads we see as we go through our Facebook feed or Instagram feed or even while watching a video on YouTube.

Alright! We are seeing/ listening/ hearing a lot of sales pitches but not many buy it, right? At least, I don’t buy it is what you feel right? No! You are wrong.

It doesn’t work that way at least for the Digital way of marketing. Every time we talk about a sales pitch, it obviously means marketing, and every time we talk about marketing we must not ignore digital marketing. For simple understanding let’s say we call it Digital Marketing and see how Digital Marketing is selling everything that we come across through any digital ad.

Let us talk about Facebook at the moment.

Facebook is one of the greatest advertising platforms used in Digital Marketing. As we all know, it is easy to find someone without a valid bank account or even valid citizenship but it is really hard to find or even imagine a person who wouldn’t have a Facebook account. Facebook is one of the few apps that will overtake the screen time of all other apps altogether on our mobile device. Don’t you agree? ( I would be happy to be proved wrong. Add a comment if you don’t have a Facebook account and you find yourself in the very small group of people who successfully achieved in not having a Facebook account. Haha! LOL! Just Kidding!
There are several reasons for businesses to choose Facebook marketing and one of best things that I would choose as a marketer is the Facebook Pixel. It is so simple and satisfying for any business to target their audience like a pro without spending a million on users who are irrelevant.

Have you ever heard of Facebook Pixel?

It is one of the best ways to track people who are already your audience and retarget them or target their lookalikes. Isn’t that cool?
For Instance: If you are into the flower business where you sell customized natural flowers for occasions. You could easily target the audience who have purchased one of your products from your site online or even someone who read on your blogs on your website even without they entering any of their personal details or fill any forms.

Doesn’t that sound crazy? Yeah, you could do that.

Here come the Facebook pixel

Aren’t you curious about Facebook Pixel? Let’s have a quick look at how Facebook pixel works.

Let’s imagine you have the Facebook application installed on your mobile device/ your tablet and you have logged into it or you have your Facebook account opened on a browser on your laptop/ desktop. And lets’ well imagine the business has the Facebook pixel installed on their website.
Now, whenever someone visits the business website where the pixel is installed, the details of the person are tracked and saved in the pixel and this allows the business to target their ads only to these pixels.
Wow! This is wonderful. But how do they track the visitor without the visitor filling any form?
As I mentioned above, imagine you have your Facebook account logged in on your phone and you visit the website using the same phone, though both actions could be ok different applications of the device, Facebook builds a bridge between both the application using the Facebook pixel plug-in or the code on the website to track the user without spending any time.
Technology has helped marketing go beyond things they have ever fathomed.

In this blog, we wish not to speak about the advertising strategies of every individual platform but to give an idea of how crucial selling happens in the market.

OK

Hold on

How is it even relative to today’s blog title?

There we are, transitioning the mind to think how everyone is selling to us even before we purchase anything.
Selling is not about making someone buy something immediately. A successful sale is even when it is like “ the idea has entered the mind of the viewer”. It’s to play with your subconscious mind.

The more we advertise a product into someone’s mind, the more is the chance of making them buy the product.
Back in the days when TV advertisements were used much, there was this model of advertising that was used crazy.

What are Bookends in advertising

What are bookends in advertising?

A bookend TV ad is one that appears at the start of a commercial break, followed by a second that pops up about 90 seconds later, at break’s end.
Bookends is just one example of marketing strategy those days. The same way there are a million ways used in Digital Marketing to make the user buy the product in their mind first.
It doesn’t matter where the user has the budget to buy your product, all that matters is to make sure the product is sold on the user’s mind.
I would continue a lot more about the same topic in my next blog and explain you every trick that is being used to make some buy something even if it is worth nothing.
