First thing first, LinkedIn is not like your Facebook and Instagram and there is nothing great in just achieving millions of connections in your profile. You really do not need a million connections but connections that will add value to you via LinkedIn.
So make sure, you are requesting or accepting connections whom you think would add value to you, if not, it is wise to reject the request.
If there is one thing LinkedIn is known for, its nothing but its native content. When you create a content, make sure you create it right inside LinkedIn and you are not trying to move the audience outside LinkedIn (Like your blog or your social media page or an affiliate link).
Text and Video are the most preferred medium of content where text content carries the priority one. When you work on a video content, make sure to add subtitles to it. As you know by default, video plays while scrolling but not audio. So Subtitles is a must.
